We are working on behalf of our client, a leading independent supplier of Plumbing, Heating & Bathroom equipment to Trade, Retail and Commercial Sectors who require a Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join their growing team based in Basildon.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assisting customers in store with goods selection.

  • General computer sales, invoices and delivery documentation.

  • Telephone sales and customer service.

  • Core product promotion.

  • Business development.

  • General Housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a Plumbing Merchant an advantage.

  • Approachable manner and good communication skills.

  • Able to display and maintain good attention to detail.

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.

  • Business computer system conversant.

What’s on offer?

  • Salary up to £27,500

  • Mon – Fri 7 am- 5pm

  • Saturday 8am-12pm

Currently allowing every other Saturday off without a reduction in pay
