The Cleaning Operative role is to carry out a variety of cleaning duties for a well-established and renowned drinks manufacturer producing a range of branded drinks and vending machines from their factories in Basingstoke. The scope of work across the site includes production areas and equipment, floors and drains, toilets/amenities and hand wash stations, yards and perimeter areas.
Further details:
To perform a variety of cleaning and hygiene tasks as detailed within the cleaning instruction procedures.
To ensure all activities are carried out and signed-off in accordance with hygiene, quality and safety standards.
Responsible for ensuring that waste material is correctly disposed of in accordance with the client’s environmental systems.
To participate in mandatory site training relating to health & safety, hygiene and environmental issues.
General Operative duties include: Cleaning of offices, toilets/amenities, factory and yard areas plus some gardening tasks.
Waste & Recycling Operative duties include: Baling, compacting, shredding, granulating plastic cups and transporting larger items (e.g. broken pallets, cardboard, green waste, etc.) to the local recycling centre. Full driving licence required as company van will be utilised.
Hours:
06:00-15:00
Salary: £11.40 per hour
