As a UK manufacturer of laser marking and cutting devices, the majority of which are exported to locations all over the world we are looking for a Production Manager who can manage a small team of engineers who assemble, configure and test a wide range of machines, successfully delivering results according to the established production system in order to meet targets and deadlines.

Requirements
Previous Production Management experience essential
Ability to pre-plan production
Able to manage a team of engineers
Quality control
Skills and knowledge working with mechanics, electronics and pneumatics
Organising stock
Quarantining unnecessary or infrequently used stock
Maintain ‘kit’ system of products
Organisation of tools so that correct placement is in order of use
Longer term goals
A bonus scheme for all members of the assembly team, whether financial, time off in lieu or a combination, to be decided.
Improvement of processes, etc. to complete more than 1 machine, per person per week, to then be linked to any bonus scheme mentioned above.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Salary: £35k per year + bonus OTE circa £40k
